When pressure is applied to the plunger, water and coffee contact is activated, allowing agitation to occur for the first time. This design enables the user to have complete control over the water flow and agitation, resulting in a brew with less bitterness and more clarity.

The Delter Coffee Press features a Jet Seal, which is a unique seal that prevents any unwanted agitation of the coffee bed during brewing. It also employs Injection Brewing, where the water and coffee are separate until you're ready to start brewing using this method. To brew with the Delter Coffee Press, you'll need freshly roasted ground coffee and water just off the boil. First, place a filter in the Delter cap and rinse it with water, then discard the water. Next, add the freshly ground coffee into the Delter coffee chamber, with a maximum capacity of 30g/1.1 oz. Twist on the Delter cap, and then flip the Delter over onto your cup. Start pouring your hot water into the brew chamber, filling it to the line markings. Raise the plunger to dose the exact amount of water required for your brew, and then push down on the plunger to activate the water and coffee contact. Finally, raise the plunger again to redose or refill the brew chamber for larger, double-batch servings. Enjoy your perfectly brewed coffee!
